I couldn't possibly pick a favourite among all the scents and smells I love, but they are all mostly plant, animal, or food related.
Some of my favourites, in no particular order
Sweet peas
Lavender
New mown hay
Roasted garlic
Hot fresh bread
Warm horse
Old fashioned roses
Cow byres
I could go on, the list gets longer the more I think about it.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land

Coffee and warm bread
Lavender (before its picked)
And ahead of either of those the smell of flowers in the garden when they're in season. Lilac, roses, honeysuckle, primroses, philadelphus, etc
There was a town garden near my junior school that had a "blind" garden where all the plants were grown for the way they smelled. I loved it and have never seen anything like it since."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)
