Wildlife on Dashcam.....

Caught this short clip on the dash cam a few days ago.....

It's about nine seconds long so it doesn't take long to load.
Best viewed using the 1080p option if possible.

(I think the clock on my cam is an hour slow since the clocks changed, so it was probably around 8.32pm)

Yes, a barn owl.

If you freeze or slow-motion the video when the owl is near to the car you can see its characteristic body shape and the characteristic way it flaps its wings.

Oh - its location was a couple of hundred yards West of the River Cam, between Stretham and Wicken, Cambridgeshire, on the A1123.

yep clocked a barn owl after third rewind , very nice.

Gosh- that's unusual. I presume there must be a shortage of food for it's chicks for it to be out during the day?
