I've just thought of a fishing tip!!
(Hope this doesn't come across to girlie!)
Don't care if you catch or not. To be fair this is easier said then done.
                Enjoy the scenery
( this is my bit of scenery, when fishing)

                Enjoy the company/alone time.
Enjoy watching the little things nature has to offer, that you don't normally notice because your to busy running round looking after your cabbages, tomatoes, spuds and everything and everybody else.

Those are excellent tips SP, most which I practice every time. I especially like watching the Herons & Kingfishers.

SP would you like a lodger as I'm available for little or no cost.

Fishing like all other pastimes, including gardening should always be relaxed. To see a frozen spider web on a hedge in the winter or listen to the owls at night is one of the greatest gifts this planet can give us.

I've not heard of that one before Tiny. My mole hills tend to get used for sowing seeds in as it's so fine.

Caught a lovely 5lb Carp this morning on tinned potato along with several runs which I didn't catch. An old trick but obviously they still fall for it.

Sorry BM, I seem to of high jacked your thread and turned it into " look what I caught! "

LOOK WHAT I CAUGHT . I'm very pleased with myself. It's my very first thorn back Ray. I put him back. I think he was about 7lb, but that's only a guess.

VC can you do the flippy photo thing again please , thank you.
