I don't know whats worse - 80s orange side bars or feeling like my computer has gone back to the 80s (with 150%), just wait a while whilst the next page loads.......................................

There seems such a big difference between 125% and 150%. No one say yes the difference is 25%

I'm trying the 125% option with narrow-ish orange bars.
Its good eye exercise, swapping between reading huge print to normal text on normal websites. That's what I'm telling myself - just to make it all seem worthwhile

I prefer 125% too VC, 150% is a bit too big for me on the laptop.

125 is a comfy eye read for me,and i still got a 2and a quarter inch of orange each side,on 150 is a bit to much,but it does cut the orange down to 7 eighths of an inch,either way not so good to look at for long,to get like your 150 view,mine has to be on 175.

I just wish I could "stretch" the screen on my ipad. I have poor eye sight - even with contact lenses and reading glasses. My best option would be to read with neither and hold the ipad by my nose so the font is big enough. On the desktop at the moment but I don't want to sit here all evening.
I had my bedroom painted orange in the late 1970s reminds me of that - bang up to date.

I've tried zooming mine but anything larger that 150% I'd have to be at the other side of the room to read it.

Yes Bren, I think 150% is the ultimate zoom. I've knocked it down to 125% as it was a tad too much.

I wonder if the OS has anything to do with it. This is 150% on a 32" TV using Opera.

Blimey, this thread is growing as I'm reading it. The colour is very "in your face" although the peachy colour is only a shade or so darker than the paint I've chosen for my bedroom.

I've got new glasses which I'm trying to get used to so the rather strident colours at the sides aren't helping and zooming doesn't help. I think I might have to stick to my Ipad to read the vine for the time being as the adverts aren't so invasive on that. (It's currently charging).

Oh, and for some reason it takes me into the adverts website when using the mouse cursor so I'm having to navigate using the keyboard.
