Because in my book 09.00 occurs once a day, nothing more, nothing less.

Once for 24 hour clock, twice for 12 hour clock. Some times however do only exist once as far as I'm concerned although seem to remember there were sometimes 2 of them when I was younger

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

i'm with greenleaves on this. It's either 09:00 and 21:00 or 9:00am and 9:00pm. Not 09:00pm because putting the zero in front of the nine implies a 24 hour clock, since there is no such time as 19:00pm (once you get to 12:00 it becomes am again)

OK, I'm a pedantic old so-and-so who grew up with the 12hr clock then had to learn the 24hr clock and don't like it when they're mixed.

I'll get back in my box now.

          Endless wonder.

You see I'm quite happy with 09.00 am as morning times do go into double figures (eg 10 and 11 in the morning) so it's just keeping consistency on the number of digits. I have to sign in every day at work and always use two digits for the hour
