        I get VERY CROSS!!!
Seriously, the weather does seem to have a real effect on my mood, and with so much to do in the garden in the next 6 weeks (re wedding) I am not a happy bunny. Even if I go out in the rain to work, these conditions have the slugs and snails working over time, and any flowers get washed or blown away!
Still, I'm banking on things improving in around a week, as both Glastonbury and Wimbledon will be out of the way! Here's hoping!

          Rain ??? Whats that ???

Sorry folks, not had much here over the last few weeks at all. In fact I'm just off out to water the garden! Such a glorious day here we have been sailing all this afternoon and evening. My face is just burning from the sun.

I may eat my words tomorrow as I think we have rain forecast ! Then I will be .......... scrapbooking .... trying not to look at the ironing and the dust which seems to be gathering on all the furniture.

After stripping and drinking, dehumdifier in room, picked rasps, starwberries a total disaster, cut grass Friday night (dry!), ran in rain (waterproofs), housekeeping, made Sunday lunch, rehoused quails, moved 2 week old quails to brooder : they complained it was cold - so added extra lamp, checked turkey eggs - at least 4 out of 6 are fertile, cleaned cooker, washed dishes, picked first quail egg, prevented male quail from having sex with every other quail in sight whether male or female by moving to a separate pen. Watered greenhouse tomatoes.

Watched French GP start and fell asleep at around 2.30pm. Woke at 4.30pm. Snoozed.
