Daughter and Grand-daughter have gone home and the house is soooooooo quiet We have had 2 GLORIOUS weeks with them. Little Jess (4 years old) held up well in 40+ degrees of sun. Her Mum kept her plastered in maximum sun-block and we managed to keep her in the shade for the worst sunshine hours of the day - playing in her paddling pool. "Grandma" says Jess - "the clock says I can go in the big pool"! The big hand is on the 12 and the little hand in on the 6 - bless her little heart Grandma was a launch pad for jumping off of into the pool, Grandma was device for swimming faster around the pool, Grandma was a "dinosaur"!, Grandma was lots of things, but above all "Grandma is my favourite person" - oh the tears when I dropped them off at the airport this morning But hey ho, my veggies are calling me now. I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next time Jess and your daughter get over to you both Jess will be that much older and will therefore show new and exciting personalty traits that you will instantly adore.
All of this will help you store away odd memories for the future when a sound, smell or sight reminds you of the last 2 weeks.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
