I made it back, fair enough we went for dinner and it is about 2 hours away but we are now 13hours later!!!!
I came away with 5 free pencils and every time i still do not understand how i end up spending that much, especially when most thing only cost a couple of pounds/euros grrr
Now sitting outside with a glass of wine wondering how the hell it is nearly 1 in the morning.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

So exciting for you. (this was meant to be a quote/reply to Nico´s, sorry i always mess up!)
My whole trip to ikea was to get the few bits that was missing from my new kitchen, so this time tomorrow everything should be finished, for me only 3 years late!! My granite is being delivered tomorrow as well, i am very excited as i have been 2 weeks with bare cupboards and no tops been horrible trying to make a cuppa.Last edited by Lisasbolt; 24-09-2015, 11:55 PM.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Morning all, onion planting this afternoon. Hubby is preparing the bed while I put in a shift at the charity shop this morning.
Still got a few beans to pick, but you have to catch them quick, most are going to seed.
Three bags of spuds stored in the porch and the green tomatoes are turning red rapidly.
Have a great day all. It's FridayNannys make memories

Must say I just solved a mystery! My cardigan is forever on the floor, now I know I wouldn't just chuck it down but I do keep it handy for popping off in the car. Just caught Stan, dragging it off the back of a chair, carrying it to the Aga, rolling it in a ball and sticking his head on it! Awww, I know I should tell him off but I can't

Good luck, Dorothy, I am sure you'll be absolutely fine and the nerves will ease off.
It's nippy outside but sunny and we've got my daughter's harvest festival to watch and then we are doing my favourite kind (only kind I like!) of shopping by going to the local garden centre. I can predict that we will first have a coffee and cake before browsing round the books, magazines then plants.
If the weather's still nice later on then I will be doing more re-potting and plodding around the garden. Hope everyone has a good dayLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
