Morning all! My working week over It is glorious here. I have been up for ages and have tidied up, put a Chicken a la King in the slow cooker (No 2 son coming over for supper tonight) and am about to get dressed and go and do the grocery shop.
My mustard seeds have arrived (green manure) so I shall be off to the plot to plant them and have a blitz amongst the old raspberry cane row. Drastic action is needed - so they are coming OUT!! Much to do and a lovely day in which to do it.

Afternoon all. Finally sat down at long last. Been like yesterday rushing round but not getting very far or much done.
Nice and sunny here so hopefully it will dry the ground out a bit down the allotment.

Back from a productive morning at the plot. Cleared the runner beans and planted out some mizuna. Some people on one of the plots behind me turned up for about the second time this year to do some clearing. They cut back all the raspberry canes, I just hope that for their sake they are Autumn fruiters. Perhaps I should have added my pearls of wisdom.
Arrived back to find a blue tit in the living room, sadly deceased. Neither cat is owning up.Comment

Hello Folks, got some work done in the garden while my wife is out with our doughter,THIS IS NOT FOR WIVES/PARTNERS TO READ, while making some coffee and reading the paper I stood on something and broke it phoned my wife to let her know and was asked how did it happen, told her I did it while hoovering, and she said ok she would get an other one, no being told I was careless/ clumsy etc. ya beauty..
Have to go my wife is coming back. Bye
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Afternoon. Spent a lovely morning walking in the park and the rose garden. Then to the garden centre where i bought a tray of Polyanthus, a pot of Chrysanths and a pack of Electric and Senshyu onion sets.
Picked up grand daughter number 2 from school and now off to make her some lunch.

I'm just back from the Vets. No rary - I didn't need treatment, it was for Old Mary and her 6 monthly eye check (still OK).
The really good news is that they'd had a coffee and cake morning in aid of Macmillan and there were lots of cakes left Guess who came away with a doggy bag - and a doggy

Afternoon all. Managed to get my parcel form the post office. Have ordered some blank key rings. Have decided that since I have all the stuff in my cupboards I really need to get my act together and start making some key rings up ready for xmas.
Go on VC how many more days to go?
Oh nearly forgot glad to hear Old Mary is ok after her check up VC.
