Good evening folks, I decided to go over to go and collect some seaweed this afternoon while my wife tided up the house, put some of the seaweed around the winter cabbage to stop the slugs and snails getting them, so will see how this helps, the cabbage I have set up as part of BMs challenge in the greenhouse are not doing well but as I have some seaweed steeping in water I will add some of the extract to see if it makes a difference (I would be better putting this in BMs thread) Now that calm has descended in the home I will go and see if anyone would like a cup of tea knowing its to late at night, but it`s the thought that counts, and good luck to AP over the weekend, hope everything goes well.
Well I wish you all a good night and for those who asked I knoiw where my wife keeps the hoover I just dont like using it as it "sucks".....Goodnight
Oi Hazel, you back from the pub yet ? Here's your start point gal ...........
Not tonight, BB - I'm a' racin' in the morning. Just watched TOTP2 disco special, mind, and the first bit of Nile Rodgers doc, until the peepers are closing - shouldn't have turned the tv on when back from the pub, I guess!
Anyway - I'll be grateful for all good thoughts tomorrow from 9.30am until somewhere south (I hope) of 9.34 and 57 seconds......
Definitely feels like Autumn this morning, 3.5 in the garden. Forecast is also set fair here Nicos so hopefully will be able to get plenty done over the plot and in the garden.
Morning everyone. Very chill overnight - got down to just 3 in the PT. When I told OH he started singing "When Will I See You Again" - grr, he never takes this gardening lark seriously.
Daughter come back from school yesterday full of cold and a sore throat so hope that improves or she will miss out on a trip to see some owls on Monday. Also hope we don't catch it either because it can take weeks for us oldies to shake off a nasty cold.
Planning to pot up some ornamental cabbages I got yesterday and hoping the visiting pigeons don't tuck into them.
Hope the tablets work soon for your hayfever, Nicos. I used to get it quite badly but not much as I've got older so I guess there have been some benefits to getting older!
Have a great day everyone.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Nope - other end of the distance spectrum - just a 1km track session - starts at 9.30am, finishes just a few minutes later. If you divide prep/thought by the distance it is one of the most analysed sessions ever!
