Afternoon all - glorious day up the allotment - created 3 frame bed over the glysophated area on my daughter's plot - it would probably have been ok to use the soil as we are nearing the end of 3rd year after it was sprayed by previous occupant but I'm taking no chances just in case.

Good evening to you all, including VC (I read your comment) an other fine day here, tided up (some of) the back garden, have decided to leave the garage open to see if someone will break in and tidy it up, I spread more seaweed over the raised bed I was working on and spent some time slicing it up with a spade and mixed it up with some shredded tree branches, I will now leave it till the spring, I also pulled my first French beans today with more to come providing there are no frosts, when I took the dog out a walk it was such a nice warm day for a stroll up until the dog, who is a lovely little white dog, turned up completly covered in ...., if I could have got her home like that it would have saved any need to look for F.Y.M. but she had to go into the burn (river) for a wash.
Well I will wish you all a good night, and VC I wish to call a truce (I could never win a slanging match wi a wumin) Goodnight.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Just been out in the greenhouse to collect a few bits I left behind earlier today.
What a beautiful calm night. Not a breeze and feeling so mild.
Feeling much more secure tonight now that we have had new extra locks fitted to our windows and doors.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Its a beautiful evening here too. Been watching the moon rise behind the trees; shining through the branches until it came out in all its glory, lighting the garden. Magical
Just found a message on my mobile phone - the one I never look at and don't know how to use Apparently, I won a box of chocolates in a raffle at the Vets. Better not tell the pups as they were hoping for dog biscuits
Hope you all sleep well tonight, especially my new best friend, rary

Morning all, wakey wakey, rise and shine it's going to be a lovely day!
Already got the washing in, quick ten minutes finishing off in the office before the OH comes home from the school run and then I'm done. Little and often is my motto and then the rest of the day is mine

Morning all, very foggy this morning. Hope it cheers up as I have a load of laundry needing done and I would rather it was line dried! Our house alarm went off during the night, I dived up to check on things OH was up but didn't come down stairs, just stood at the top,son and dogs were all snoring their heads off and I'm the one checking everything is ok. The alarm was blaring, how can you sleep through that?!
Hope you all have a great day!sigpic

Another sunshiny day, looks like a good day for washing the dog's bedding. Hoping the stuffing doesn't fall out of them (the beds, not the dogs).
Enjoy your day

Good morning all from a lovely sunny Dublin. Unfortunately I have to head into the city to see the eye specialist but after that my day is mine. May go to the garden centre to get my garlic.
Have a good day all.
