Daughter is going to the smoke for the weekend and wants to throw the key we have of hers back through the letter box tomorrow in case either of the older two GGs forget theirs. The irony is that it was the SinL who took the key back from us because he forgot his the other day! It's small wonder she doesn't want to throw Chester through the letter box as well

Hellooooooooo!
Back from a work day in London - all transport went smoothly until the local train from New Street (which I've got lost around AGAIN today!) was delayed and delayed and cancelled and suddenly reinstated... not a moment too soon as half a dozen of us on the platform were just forming a 'taxi alliance' to share back to Sutton and to split the cost.
Now, Local Pub is next to the station, and I peeped though the window as I walked past and saw they had Black Sheep on as the guest, so I slipped in for a cheeky half to revitalise me before a brisk trot through the town home.

Sunny but cold, 5.9 in the garden! Nothing planned today but hope to see England wrap up the third test match on the box.

Weird day yes as plans for a day out were abandoned when we got a message to say mum was in hospital. Went to visit her, round trip of neatly 4 hours in the car mainly in the rain to find it had been a lovely day on the coast. Still she appreciated the visit and I hope she gets some quality care and some solutions as she's been poorly all year and no joined up medical thinking.

Yep - according to what I read in the paper this morning, when you press the 'upgrade' button, MS scans your hardware for suitability and allocates your download according to demand, and your system. It apparently lets you know when it's done it's stuff (presumably pops up with a 'reboot now to complete' message).Location....East Midlands.

Good afternoon folks, a wet day here central heating on and Grandsons want to play hide and seek, so told them I have some work to do on computer, still thinking on trying windows 10, are there any bad reports about it and is it and is it user friendly for the "more mature user" VC. are you finding it any advantage over windows 8
I have to go and hide now, but with my luck they will find me and I`ll have to playit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
