Cool but dry and sunny so looks like a nice day ahead. Trip to garden centre still got a voucher to spend. Looking forward to some relaxing time in PT as have a full on weekend. Happy Friday everyone
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Morning ladies from a chilly but pleasant Nestland, may even get some more bits done in't garden. Have a good one.

Morning all, I've an easier day today - kids have a teacher training day so no taxi driver jobs for me today. I've some plants to get in the garden though and I'm having lunch with my neighbour. Our local village pub is being reopened after a year of being closed! Staff got fed up of "Marco pierre white" and did a mass walk out hoping this time it will be a success
Morning all, dull and chilly this morning. Yet another night of seeing every hour on the clock! Catching up with housework today I have an ironing which is like a mountain! Let you into a bit of a secret, don't tell anyone...that mountain, it will probably still be there tomorrow!
Morning all and yes, we still have the sunshine. It has been a lovely week weatherwish and I have to say I have spent as much time as possible outdoors.
I wont get too much done in the garden today but I dont mind.
.We will be having 2 of my grandkids today after school and will take them out for lunch afterwards.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Morning all - absolutely glorious here. I have taken the car to be serviced and have put out the laundry. Off to do the grocery shop in my 'courtesy car' and then I shall be doing housework and hopefully attacking the greenhouse in the garden. Cleared out the glass shed at the allotment last weekend. I have been experimenting with Swedish style pickled cucumber. Son wanted to know if this meant he would have to re-assemble the cucumber with only the assistance of an Allen key!!
Tomorrow I am off to Clumber Park for their Regional Apple Day! Really looking forward to that -cousin's partner is a horticulturalist working there, so I shall get an 'insider's' guided tour (I hope). Hope the weather is as lovely tomorrow.
Morning everyone Up earlier today (yuk!) as off to a 40th party today. Personally I'd rather be gardening as never been one for these large gatherings and I really dislike having to dress up smartly and be polite and make small talk with a bunch of people I'll not likely be seeing again - maybe not for another 10 years anyway! Maybe I should be renamed as a grumpy gardener LOL.
Anyway have a great weekend all

Done 2 hours school work and now I've had enough (rather than finished!) I'm off to do something in the garden. I've got some primulas to plant in baskets and an Autumn feed to put on the lawn.
Not as sunny as the last two days, but warm enough to dry the washing that has filled the linen basket overnight. I do mean overnight, as it was virtually empty when I went to bed last night and the lid was bursting off this morning.
Have I missed MOM for October? As it's now a third of the way through the month.
The MoM Momth starts around the time of the mag going on sale in the shops - about the 2nd Friday. Don't ask me why it doesn't start on the 1st, but it never does.
The Announcement is imminent though - so watch this space. Maybe over the weekend or Monday
