Well back to reality today, holiday is over. I took Luke (who we care for) down to Newquay for a week, in the end my wife couldnt come because our other guy we look after wasn't feeling too good.Fishing wasn't too bad, still Mackerel about and we caught a couple of bass too. The other thing is that when I got home nearly all my tomatoes had ripened. Anyway i am back to annoy you all again.

Evening all..
Rather tired man here..
Out for a very enjoyable meal last night and went for few drinks afterwards...
Would have been fine if I left it at that, but of course, we brought the neighbours in for a nightcap...Cue much singing and carousing and not getting to bed until 5 o clock
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Yep...I know it's Sunday and I could be trying to get a bit of lie in...but my head and nozzle seem to think otherwise
I've started making Xmas decorations for the Xmas Fairs and new ideas keep popping into my head.
Am hoping to have another hazelnut picking session again today...the grass is growing and needs cutting so it's going to be fun trying to find them!
I also think- for my sanity , I need to try and do a bit of cleaning around all the mess and stuff piled up in our lounge.
The building dust and rubble is now appearing in the bedrooms!

Morning Nicos and everyone else who is awake ... been up for ages, could not get back to sleep
The sun is showing signs of shining this morning - hurrah! Very grey and overcast yesterday, but I still had a fabulous time at Clumber Park. Any grapes in that part of Nottinghamshire, (only about 10-12 miles from Sheffield) they have another Celebratory Apple Day today. They are an official 'repository' of 74 regional varieties of apple and they have a 4 acre walled kitchen garden. Pruning demonstrations, talks from the bee-keeper, cookery demonstrations from their chef/catering manager. I thoroughly enjoyed myself yesterday and learned loads!
Since I was out 'gallivanting' yesterday, I shall have to do the ironing, mow the back lawn and get to the allotment today. Enjoy your Sunday, however you spend it.
