Morning all, dark this morning. Can't believe the clocks go back this weekend! I'm starting to feel a bit better thank goodness, not 100% but a little better. Hope everyone who has been feeling rotten this week is starting to get a little better.
Good morning all. Not a bad morning here, beginning to brighten up.
This is a long weekend for us Irish, bank holiday Monday plus an extra hour in bed, what more could you ask for.
Have a good day all
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

That's what I'd call the luck of the Irish Sounds perfect!
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Morning!! Just clocking in
I have plans for today - or should I say, my Mum has plans for my day. Take her to the Hearing clinic at the hospital and then I'm sure she'll want to go food shopping. She may be 95 and a bit shaky on her legs, but let her loose in a supermarket and she's turbocharged and disappears. One day, I'll lose her completely and I'll have to go to the Helpdesk and ask them to make an announcement;-
"There's a child at the front of the store who has lost her Mummy. Please come and collect her"
I just hope this new hearing aid works or she may leave me at Customer Services permanently
Have a good day, especially our Irish friends with their long weekends

Artnoon all.
I was wrong this morning. I didn't lose my mother in the supermarket, I lost her in the hospital
I dropped her off at the entrance to outpatients and went to park the car. By the time I returned she'd vanished. I had some very sympathetic looks from the receptionists when I told them I'd lost my mother! They didn't pass me the tissues though! Anyway, she was returned by a very kind young lady who found her sitting in the wrong waiting room! I know her hearing aids work as she kept telling me to stop shouting
Are we all well and in Friday mood?
Got to try out the chinese cabbage I've been growing. Steamed it lightly and it tasted a bit like spinach. Anyway it was good and went well with macaroni cheese. My daughter loved it as well. Hubby wouldn't even try it! Arggh. Actually I was glad as there was more for me that way. Unfortunately I've used all the seeds up so will need to get some more for next year.
Glad you found your mum VC! My late mother in law used to love wandering off. Shopping was a nightmare as you spent most of your time trying to work out where she'd got to. Fun and games
