Good evening Folks, it has been a rather dreich day here, rain most of the day,and now looks as if it could be frost, ah well, I`ll be in bed and fast asleep, I think I need to buy a new set of scales,(or do a Nicos and fit a new kitchen) as the ones we have are not showing the weight I want to see, I dont understand it my son stood on them last week and said they were ok, I will go and check them again I also got woken up about 0415 this morning it was something like a typwriter going that caused it Well I wish you all a good night, and no noise as if I have to buy new scales I will be in a bad mood.
Goodnight.
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Morning everyone Looks a whole lot better than yesterday and the sun is out. Busy looking at crochet patterns to see if I have time to whip up a few gifts before Christmas. Also need to crack on and finish some projects I started months ago.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Morning all
It's just unpleasant out there this morning! I need my arm bands, waders and a snorkel. Just as well I'm on house cleaning duties and packing, for my monthly visit to sunny rhyl tomorrow.
Hope you all have a more exciting day planed than me ( and the next 5 , I hate going to civilisation)
Sorry to read your news Lisa, I hope your OH recovery goes well. Sometimes it's good to share crap news. We are good listeners. Chin up
I'm up early, this morning. Washed the kitchen floor, got the spare room ready, for my sister in law, now just revving up the Hoover son number 2 is performing a piano recital this lunchtime in a local hall. I'm hoping there will be a little audience enough to make it worth while doing. He needs the practice ready for his piano performance diploma next year but most people I know work or as its half term are on hols fingers crossed please. Not that he's that bothered! Why is he still sleeping?! He could at least get out of bed early! Anyone live near Melsham?
Morning ladies from a wet Nestland, just been down to let the chooks out so thought I would net the pond while down there, it's becoming a daily task. Enjoy your day & safe journey tomorrow SP.

Morning all, bright and sunny here. Had a bit of a lay in and really needed it.
We are off to party later, it is the first day of the fiesta, so lots of beers and tapas, listen to some live music but will be giving the fairground rides a miss this year. Viva España.
Might pick a couple of small jar of black olives as the others seem to be going to well.
Have a good day x
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
Kids still enjoying their mid-term and myself and herself (despite her putting petrol in her diesel car I brought her ) went to see Spectre last night..Hadn't been to the cinema in ages so enjoyed that.
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
