The sun came out and I cancelled the shopping until the next miserable day when I cant do any gardening which I am sure will happen soon.

Dusty is the big boy, Jessie is the white boy and Gustavo is the black boy. My 3 little sometimes angels.
I hand reared the 2 little ones with their brother (who sadly died at 7 weeks to parvo) and i have a unbelievable strong bond with them. Horrible ******** put them in a plastic bag at 2 days old and into the bins!!
Dusty was dumped at the local tip at 6 weeks old with his brother almost starved to death, we fostered him but couldn´t part. and never willI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Well done to you Lisa...They are lovely!
Well that's another week over.. Tired now as 6 year old daughter was up last night with croup cough, and poor thing was getting very upset with it.. Brought her out in the cold nightair for a while and it seemed to help...
Hope she sleeps well tonight as I have a group if Under 6 boys to coach in the morning...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

My daughter suffered badly with croup when she was about your daughters age.
Always brought her into the bathroom and ran the hot water until the room was full of steam. It always helped.
Hope shes feeling better tonight. Its very upsetting when your child is poorly.
Hope you both get a good nights sleep Trip.

Get up - you lazy soandso This is my bossy voice that I use when I'm up early-ish (ie, before 9)
Morning Grapelets. Its a glorious sunshiny morning. Already13c in the shade and climbing. Looks like a good day for washing and raking the leaves. ..........I don't mean washing the leaves before I rake them up - that would be silly
Have a sooper day, whatever you're doing

Morning all. Up early again - could not sleep. I have done the washing, baked a cake, cooked a cottage pie (these are for FiL) ... strange smelling an apple cake baking at 8.30 in the morning. It is mild and hopefully will be dry enough for me to mow the lawns (last cut of the year - pleeeeeese, let it be the last cut of the year) and plant my bulbs. And I have got a lot of onions to peel for pickling. Not quite so 'appeeling'. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, raining here but mild. Hopefully it will cheer up later, haven't seen the forecast this morning! Our garden is now a soggy mess with hundreds of leaves. We were hoping to get the mower out, as Stan79 suggested earlier, put it on the high setting and mulch up the leaves, well that's not going to happen now otherwise we will have one ploughed up garden!
Well done to you Lisa, your boys are lovely! I admire people like you, VC and Jeanied to name a few who take abandoned animals into their homes and show them the world is not all bad! Wonderful!sigpic
