Warm'n'windy here today. Was waiting for the forecast rain to fall, but doesn't look imminent- so watering cans have been wielded...~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

Eyup, hope you're all ok. Lots of R&R here. Just got used to a different pace so not looking forward to going back to work. How did the boys do in their exams Scarlet, well I hope? Golden Girl No1 now has several A-levels, but has no desire to go to University, so not sure what she will do. She does love earning money, so we're not too worried for her - yet. Very dark here already, I wonder if the rain will come?Granny on the Game in Sheffield

Back here with an update. Hubby got his tooth filling this morning and it fell out tonight when he was eating a biscuit.
Guess where he will be going tomorrow.?

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Evening folks!
I've make the carrot cake for the Show on Sunday - first time I've made one, and I've no idea what it should look like so it might be superb, or a massive embarrassment . Will make the frosting/filling on Sat. and I'll post a pic once iced so you can give your opinions!
It might be like the year that I entered the 'pot plant grown from supplied cutting' (a coleus, that year) - when I took my lovely 6" tall and wide plant to the display table I nearly died on the spot when I saw this series of huge and magnificent 3' specimens. Hey ho!
Incidently, this year's 'pot plant grown from supplied cutting' is a fuchsia, and mine looks quite good, I think.

Originally posted by Scarlet View PostCongrats on your GG's results, my boys don't get theirs until next Thursday (GCSE's) though felt quite sad today, one of the boys friends was expecting good grades. She got 9A's in her GCSE's.couple of years ago and got 3D's today in her A levels, didn't get her Uni spot
Well done to Flo's eldest GG - sounds like she has her head screwed on and wants to get on. Good for her.
