Morning all, sunny here this morning. Well i have 3 children in my care todat so we are off th the Butlers chocolate factory this morning. We are booked for the 12.0clock tour.dont knoe if they will need lunch after this but wd will wait and see.

Morning all - now for the clear up after the show followed by a another Committee meeting in preparation for the EGM. Here a couple of pics of the registration yesterday -very quiet as most had taken place on Saturday afternoon That reminds me need to get my flower tub back.

Morning all. It's a lovely sunny morning here, hopefully the cloud in the North Sea will stay there!

I'm into the second week of my 3-week chemo cycle now and starting to feel vaguely human again, so I'll head down the allotment and tackle some more weeds this afternoon. I need to get some more netting up so I can plant out the spring cabbages, too.

There is no truth in the rumours that these are Committee members who have been hung for crimes against the allotment members but it keeps the Committee on its toes

Nobody needed lunch after visiting the Butlers Chocolate factory so we headed to the botanic gardens for the afternoon. What a lovely sunny day.

Weekend and wedding was so hectic, can't even write about it.

Am just about to go and prepare a 'home grown ratatouille' to have with onion bread for supper. Suppose I'll have to open a bottle of red! Wouldn't be right otherwise, wud it!

Was at allotment for nearly 3 hours with my mom and Dad. Think both of them went home tired. Going back down tomorrow to finish digging the last path up.

Just passing through after Club Run en route to the bath - great run tonight - maybe, just maybe the hard work is paying off!

Great day at the Show yesterday - my cabbage won first prize! Handful of seconds for the CARROT CAKE, shallots and a couple of others; then a few thirds inc. fruit cake. Pleased as I was with the Carrot cake and cabbage, my proudest moment was 2nd for the 'collection of 5 veg'.

Nice to meet the mod on a scooter and am glad that he & Mrs BB enjoyed the carrot cake. It's nearly all gone (already ) but there's plenty of fruit cake to go round.

Mornin all

Went to 6 supermarkets yesterday looking for fresh red chilies...only a couple had green ones.
Wanted to make apple chilli jam, and don't think green ilooks as nice/ tasty as red?

Big day today digging up a post concreted in at depth of 4ft. Exhausted.

Note to self: Must think harder, and for longer, about where things are going to be put in order to avoid physically taxing games of musical chairs with trellises. And wasted bags of concrete.
