Morning all. Sunny but quite windy this morning. I maygo to the library today as I need to get a bit of reading matter for the weekend.
Flo, hope your daughter is on the mend.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
I've been to the plot to water - I shall be picking a lot of beans tomorrow! I have made a batch of these courgette, bacon and cheese muffins - I have to say, they are not bad - may have to tweak the recipe a bit. Did four without bacon as a veggie alternative.
And I have just dug up the pampas grass that was taking over my front garden and lawn. My next door neighbour very kindly got his saw out so that we could cut it into small enough pieces to move and deal with. And here comes the rain. Never mind, it was lunch time anyway!
Good evening peeps..Hope everyone is having a good day so far..Its been a gorgeous hot sunny day her today..Weekend is finally here so time to chill out with a few glasses of wine..Enjoy the rest of your evening folks
Hey Flo, I hope the medics are progressing with diagnostics & treatment & that your DD is coming along well, try to take some time for yourself gal, she will need her mum to be fit & well when she comes out of hospital

Nipped in for a nosey Daughter is stable on the morphine and blood thinners, I was with her for a few hours today. She still has tachycardia (abnormal resting rate of the heart) and is a bit breathless, but looks a little better. I'm sure all your positive vibes will aid her recovery, thank you
Evening all! Did shopping duties with mum earlier on, then Local Pub and back to watch the back half of 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' (James Corden and Matthew Horne). One of those films that was so bad, it was good!
Glad to hear that Ms Flo is recovering - such a worry! May she become cardic (or whatever the opposite of tachycardic is!) very soon.
I have precisely 5km of string here in my hand, and I have tied one end most firmly to the chair leg. That gives me about half an hour of wandering time.
Your starter for ten, BB, is not familiar to me - but I'm happy to start off here....
Oh - before I forget! Nicos - do say hello to your VIP for me - get her to model her 'wedding' hat, and send her on her way with mole solutions; dog treats and much love to KK.
So, the only non-'Family' track that my youtube string takes me to is (bizarrely) Tubeway Army.
This is spot on my era - although I do recall being confused when a 'right-on' friend told me at the time that Gary Newman was a victim of severe Hackney. Some time later, I realised that the poor bloke suffered from a skin complaint.
