    • My son and daughter in law went to the Leeds Festival very early Thursday morning and if the pics on his Flacebook page are anything to go by - bleary eyes - umbrellas - wellies - dopey grins I think they are really enjoying the party!

I am really looking forward to the GR opening as I think many of our new Grapes will add to the chaos and uncontrolled imagination of the Vines Chrimbo activities - are our Australian grapes going to arrive on bedecked kangaroo's I ask myself?

Got to start getting ready soon, off to the mother in-laws for tea and then going to see friends later and their new arrival. She only had her last weekend.

        • I'm fine, thanks for asking Cariann. Don't do that very often and probably wouldn't have yesterday if other people hadn't kept plonking more wine in front of me.

I'm also looking forward to the GR opening. Did we leave anything in the cellar when we closed up last time?

American classics. To start we had Bernsteins Westside story (for me that was probably the best of the night) have each instrument a little solo. Then we had copeland , lord of the dance and the second half was Charles Ives, I've forgotten what it was called, they played it brilliantly and the older chap sat next to me kept whispering "bravo" so it must have been good. I just struggled a little on that piece, I don't know it and it's a little strange. I was proud to have my son playing

            • JanieB - I think we might have left a few Grapes we have not heard from since. Oh and puppy supplies. Oh and half the panto horse and an elf called Rupert!

              • Evening all. Well didn't have any more stinking carpet to move down at my mom and dads allotment
I used my weed hacker to hack down loads of weeds. Very therapeutic.
Got Will hair cut this afternoon. Managed to get him there with a bribe of an ice cream when he got back. He nearly ran up the road with that thought in his mind
                Have a good evening everyone

                • Luvly full moon tonight and I've been out cloudwatching
I've seen clouds shaped like pigs and Mickey Mouse, a skull with 2 bright eyes, a dog like a clipped poodle and a rat with a long tail. May have to go back out soon and see what else I can see.

                            • Morning/afternoon all. I'm all excited as the ingredient for my annual mega batch of mango chutney is arriving today. We're down to half a jar and the next batch won't be ready for a month.
