Morning all
What a glorious day ( though nippy ). Their forecasting a dry and sunnyish weekend here so should hopefully get a bit done once ive finished laying the floor in the bathroom .
Better go to ASDA and get my ale ready for sunday as well

Morning all, lovely but chilly morning here too! The dogs are not morning dogs, they like a bit of a lie in but this morning they had to be at the groomers at 9am. Now normally they go at 1.30pm but on the odd occasion they have to be there at 9 I feel rotten dragging them out of bed but this morning...well, I took great delight as they point blank refused to go to bed last night...still up barking and having a carry on at 2.00am! Of course OH is working and you have to consider if the neighbours can hear them so couldn't just shut them in the kitchen and let them bark. Maybe they will go to bed tonight with no probs! We can hope!

Afternoon everyone - it is Friday! Errands run, shopping done, ironing done. Feeling rather pleased with myself Out to lunch shortly with some lovely ladies I met at the bereavement support group. Then to the plot. I hope that I shall be planting phacelia and limanthes (not sure if that is the correct name - Fried Egg plant anyway) ... they are supposed to be green manure and to stop the damn weeds coming through. That is the theory. We shall see.

A lovely day here. My seeds arrived from the VSP (thanks VC) and it's fabulous to see familiar names on the packets. My tomato spreadsheet to update now.

I did my big Task for the work week, it hasn't rained (yet) and I'm listening to a-ha's new album and hopefully going on a girls night out to see them next year

Did a morning in the charity shop
Going for a weekend in Cheltenham, calling in on our elderly Aunt and taking her out for lunch on Sunday. So no cooking for me for a few days yippee

Lovely to see you, Trip - I have had a frantic week, as you have, but I've had a lovely evening at the local; with a takeaway on the way home.

Am fit for nothing more than a grand snooze now - the ball of string can stay put tonight; it's bedtime for this household and all that is in it .
