AP...no , I think you need a UK IP to receive it....very frustrating at times .
Shame Nicos. I was looking good too . Seriously though that must be a real pain. We get it shown again on a Sunday morning but that is maybe just down to regional programming.
Just watched your piece on Beechgrove AP...stunning plot, no wonder you are champion of champions!
Steady on, I'm already in trouble because I'm no longer National Pea Champion.
At the time of year the filming was done, I've normally given up on the weeds but when asked if I'd let the cameras in for a looksee, I thought I'd better at least try to make the plot look presentable. I must have spent a couple of days in total weeding and tidying up. The shot looking up the plot through the onions interplanted with french marigolds does make it look good but it does flatter it a bit too. I'm really not normally that tidy and my slabs don't often get a brush and wash down.
You didn't look at all as I imagined you I thought you'd be tall and gaunt, not Sean Connery Your onions were as I imagined though!
Morning All. Sunshiny here - at the moment - so I'm going to head westwards - hope that's not Wetwards
Just had a visit from a neighbour's 4 month old sprocker. Poor puppy was a bit overwhelmed at first by my rabble but, once Spud stopped trying to have his wicked way with her and Ted stopped "oofing", she was fine.
Must get a move on so ....................byeeeeeeeeeeee
I also caught the Beechgrove program, always like the program as it helps me to know what will grow up here. Your plot looked very good, well done, Jim has a nice manner about him that comes across well on the telly.
I look forward to watching that Beechgrove episode on iPlayer. I don't have much time to watch TV in the week so I tend to watch things on catch up at the weekend - mostly gardening or cookery shows.
Annoyed with next door's cat. He has taken to sleeping in our polytunnel which I don't have a problem with because he's a nice old thing. But today I saw him clawing the cover so he got a good telling off. Going to have to fill my shelves up so he sits in the middle of the floor.
On the plus side, I made a load of tomato juice up which was a nice way of using an excess of tomatoes. Got given a load of apples which I will juice and make into apple sauce and freeze. Love this time of year
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
what time is it on this afternoon, and what channel, would love to look, have looked at the tv listings and no see,is it called beechgrove gardens, also looked at catchup tv.

Went to plot, cut a caulie and then delivered it to a nice lady who arranged some sponsorship for our local NVS Show. I have them coming out my ears at the moment. The caulie's not nice ladies with sponsorship .
Then went to B&Q to look for a hand held pressure sprayer to replace mine which went belly up yesterday. Plastic just lasts so long in the sunshine. Didn't buy there, far too expensive.
Went to Asda to book use of their traing room for our AGM. Asda really good with Charities and NVS is a registered one.
Asked for 2nd last Thursday in November. Should have been the 22nd. Nope, it's the 19th so booked that. Over a cuppa in the cafe, realised it should be October so went back and changed it to, yes the 22nd.
Got home and found a letter inviting me in for a hernia repair on yes you got it, 22nd October. Sheesh, this would try a saint. Phoned around the movers and shakers in Local District Association of the NVS, agreed to move to 21st October and ASDA have since confirmed that for us.
Don'tchya just love it when everything goes wrong and then comes right
Just managed to get Beechgrove Garden downloaded. Must agree your plot looks stunning. All that stuff you have AP so impressed with your plot
Must admit a bit like VC you don't look like I thought you would look like. But at least I know who to ask for a free drink at the Gardeners Rest
Can't seem to access the i player here Aberdeen plotter si I will just have to imagine a tall goodlooking Sean Connery doing gardening.☺
Much as though I'd be happy to be truly compared to Sir Sean, I have to reluctantly concede that I'm not quite in his league. I am Scottish and proud to be so although I voted no and would do so again so I don't compare on that score, I'm only 5ft 9 ish and I have a paunch bought and paid for. oh, and I have a sense of humour
