Still doesn't hurt but I'm sure more will fall off before I see a dentist. I'm such a coward
It was Yellow sticker time at little Morris's and I've stuffed the freezer with 09p pies and pasties, bread and cakes. Diet??? What diet?

Hope you've all had a blissful day
I wonder what could cause tooth decay???
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

    • Too many doughnuts?

I've been wondering how old my teeth are They're not as old as the rest of me but I don't know at what age you lose your baby teeth and grow big person's teeth
Is any part of one's body "original" or does it replace itself over time, like hair and nails do?
I'm sure Goggle knows the answer but its more interesting asking you

                • Morning All

After the glorious weather of yesterday we have very light rain this morning but still warm. OH has decided we need to go looking for new dining room furniture so looks like its touring the shops for me today. What is more worrying is new furniture often leads to redocoration...oh the joys of retirement!

                  • Well, if it's any consolation , OH painted the back door yesterday...and under coated 2 windows- we had to sleep with them all open so they didn't stick!

                        • Morning all - grey but the clouds are high so maybe it won't rain, too much. Did no allotment work yesterday, mowed lawns, played in the greenhouse, finished painting the fence and cooked supper for FiL. Today - errands, quick foray to allotment to water, out to lunch and then possibly proper allotment work after or if not, certainly tomorrow! I need to sort out my butts.

Due to a glut of courgettes (is it ever anything other than a glut? They must be the easiest vegetable ever to grow ... what a shame they aren't tastier) I experimented with a recipe for courgette, feta and pea fritters. Texted son to tell him and his response? "Mmmm - fried cheesy peas". You have to be a Fast Show fan to get it but it made me laugh out loud.

Have a good Monday everyone - whether you are at work or play.

That might be one if the reasons I rarely cycle with him anymore! It's always, "bl@@dy pedal and stop nosing in those gardens!" when we got home son2 was just getting ready to go out, so he went along to keep him company. Another 30mile but a little slower

Morning all, lovely here today. Warm and windy. I've a few jobs to do this morning and then I've the afternoon free though I really don't fancy gardening. I think I may have an easy afternoon doing a little cooking. Chocolate cake anyone?

                              • Afternoon,

I am having a nice chilled day. Done my morning round at work and then came home and got a phone call and was asked if I can just do one person for dinner and tea. He just lives around the comer from me and that they will cancel all my calls if I did that.

Also the hospital phoned me and said I was unsuccessful for the job. But if they had more posts open I would of got the job. But they have offered me to work bank instead. At least I will have my foot in the door at working at the hospital and I can always apply for permanent when one comes available.
