  • Morning all - looks nice here today and to get warmer - Committee meeting on site at 1200 to discuss forthcoming show, obtaining 2 new containers, EGM to discuss taking over the site from the council and the very contentious item of selling compost bins. Enjoy your day!

    • Another beautiful day here. Nothing planned yet as hubby just lost a filling from his tooth and is visiting the dentist this morning.

      • Hope they can patch him up Bramble! I'm off to the orthodontist with son#1, his teeth are looking straighter but I think he's got a few more appointments to go yet.
Grey and overcast here.it was too hot for me yesterday so it's a relief to be honest.

        • I think it's morning as it is do dark here. Lashing with rain which reminded me we have a dripping gutter by our bedroom which drips onto the wheelie bin. Water torture! Cleaning this morning then back to Suffolk to see mum.

Bramble -I've just noticed your location there.

I'm heading over your way on Saturday for a week to visit my partner's family.

My better half is from Malahide, so we really enjoy going round the east coast -especially at this time of year.

            • Well, I was going to wear the 'pink and black, long dress with sandals' to this wedding on Saturday as we were having lovely summer weather, But oh dear it seems to have changed dramatically, so think it's going to be the 'black and green dress with jacket', tights and shoes! And Very large umbrella!

              • Dog has already had a little bath today following this mornings rather wet walk, but it's worse now, maybe I'll name a raincoat for him out of a black sack? What do you think?

                  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaarternoooooooon Peeps! It's chuckin' it down here, and I'm soaked, as are the dogs. It keeps threatening to thunder, so I'm on dog-calming duties at the mo. I've been looking forward to a wet day, so I could have a rest from the relentless gardening, gardening, gardening-go-round, but now I'm home, I dunno where to start!

May I suggest a glass with lime & lemon slices in would be a good place

Well, the thunder has stopped now, the sun has come out, so have put on my flowery wellies, and I'm off out!
