Shen. In East Ayrshire you buy the bags then you can have the compost free... free.... such a nice sound
rary - Yes we in South Ayrshire are well aware of differing policies in South Ayrshire in comparison to our near neighbours in this and other freebie matters but leaving aside our natural jealousy we live in such a beautiful place that we refuse to let it spoil our enjoyment of said place and merely spit every time we pass a Councillor in the street - this saves the Council washing the street and as we have 4 Councillors here and see them quite frequently saves the Council quite a bit of money
Last day in work then I have 2 days off Today is not bad. I have about 5 hours rest after my morning shift before I go back out doing the tea shift. (Opps just noticed I missed the F out of shift then)
Anyone for coffee?

Good morning! It's going to be manic at work today, pre Bank Holiday..... Anyway, have a good one!
Nicos, hope OH enjoys your cakes, its hellish being on a diet - we're both on Weight Watchers at mo, getting mighty fed up of all the good food!! Craving a large bag of steaming hot, salt and vinegar covered, chip-shop chips!!!

Morning all. Been busy so far with changing three beds and getting a second load in the washer.
Going to allotment to gig up the last red spuds and hopefully get a picking of runner beans.
Still recovering from a surprise visit from my sister in law and family. She visited on Tuesday and I am still trying to recover.
Anyway have a good day everyone
Morning I'd forgotten about it being a bank holiday weekend that means the roads are going to be full of cars all trying to go somewhere. I'll stick with my garden.
Yesterday I finished my new bed (ready for the cherry tree, strawberries and creeping thyme) and if I can wake up, I'm going down to remove bind weed from my going to be Mediterrean herb and rose garden.
I haven't tested their DNA but I know the strawbs are Cambridge (town or gown wasn't specified).
TIME and TIDE wait for no man only for the space-time continuum ladies
VC - I've never met a 'time continuum lady' in fact up until BB's post I was unaware of their existence - It is truly amazing what you learn on GYO - I take it from above that they not only keep their husbands waiting but have extended this to nature also - if so a remarkable achievement. What other powers do they possess and are there many of them about? Do they frequent dating sites - if so do they indulge in speed dating and can they extend the time for each one they take a fancy to? So many unknowns.
Shen, you've missed a bit behind your left ear, looks like a bit of compost
VC - It's actually my right ear - oh sorry - I'm looking in the mirror - I'll never get used to this reflection business - think it's chocolate from one of my grandson's cuddles - he was eating a choc ice
