Had a busy evening yesterday...make 2 double sized fruit cakes and 5x quantity Victoria sandwich mix.
So now need to cut them up and freeze them
I split the sponge mix and made a ginger cake, chocolate and chili, and ginger and lemon buns.
Sadly I'm on a strict diet...but at least the OH has some serious impulse nibbles after a day in the garden!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Location....Normandy France

Good morning! It's going to be manic at work today, pre Bank Holiday..... Anyway, have a good one!
Nicos, hope OH enjoys your cakes, its hellish being on a diet - we're both on Weight Watchers at mo, getting mighty fed up of all the good food!! Craving a large bag of steaming hot, salt and vinegar covered, chip-shop chips!!!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Morning all. Been busy so far with changing three beds and getting a second load in the washer.
Going to allotment to gig up the last red spuds and hopefully get a picking of runner beans.
Still recovering from a surprise visit from my sister in law and family. She visited on Tuesday and I am still trying to recover.
Anyway have a good day everyonesigpic

It's sunny!
Yesterday I finished my new bed (ready for the cherry tree, strawberries and creeping thyme) and if I can wake up, I'm going down to remove bind weed from my going to be Mediterrean herb and rose garden.
I haven't tested their DNA but I know the strawbs are Cambridge (town or gown wasn't specified).

VC - I've never met a 'time continuum lady' in fact up until BB's post I was unaware of their existence - It is truly amazing what you learn on GYO - I take it from above that they not only keep their husbands waiting but have extended this to nature also - if so a remarkable achievement. What other powers do they possess and are there many of them about? Do they frequent dating sites - if so do they indulge in speed dating and can they extend the time for each one they take a fancy to? So many unknowns.
Shen, you've missed a bit behind your left ear, looks like a bit of compostEndeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary
