Afternoon all. Taking a well-earned sit down. I have just finished preparing 15lbs of fruit and veg for chutneys and pickles. Plum and chilli chutney is cooking even as I type (and it is resolutely refusing to reduce), beans are coming up to the boil for runner bean chutney and the veggies for cucumber relish and piccalilli are sitting in a little salt, gradually giving up some of their water. Can't go out until this damn chutney is ready. Hope everyone else's chutney is better behaved!

Was suppose to be cleaning the flat, sorting washing out what I put on this morning and preparing tea this morning when I finished work. I ended up going to the pub for lunch with my friend before going back out again doing my tea round and then when I came home I opened a bottle of wine! Looks like I will have to leave it all till tomorrow.

Apart from tea, I am doing that now as I type.
