Well I'm back in after an evening of classical music. Very good it was too, the Swindon and Wiltshire youth orchestra, full house tonight but they got my white wine muddled for red in the interval I can't drink that stuff. So I'm having a nightcap of baileys to make up for it!

We seem to have a country vibe with Pussycat - Mississipi...
As is so often with 'bands' - we're really talking about a charismatic lead and a couple of backing girls.
Just read up, and it's a band of seven, from the Netherlands - the three girl singers are sisters. The chaps doing the instruments were once in a band called Scum. Nice.
Morning all. Damp here again this morning. Going to mom and dads allotment again today. Think they have some more old smelly carpet to move again. hopefully it wont be as heavy or as smelly as last time.
Have a good day everyone
Morning all. My toilet and washbasin were delivered at 7.45 this morning! Good job I was up. Had to deal with the delivery men in my dressing gown. No, that's a very badly constructed sentence ... I was in my dressing gown when I dealt with the delivery men .
The house still smells of chutney - that alluring aroma of vinegar and onions - not! And I have piccalilli and cucumber relish to make in a few minutes time. Then a quick whizz round with the hoover and flick my feather duster since FiL is coming for supper tonight. Then I shall go to the plot for an hour or two before creating a culinary delight for him - well roast chicken dinner and blackberry and apple crumble.
I am off to son's first thing tomorrow morning - they are going to Leeds to the festival to celebrate their wedding anniversary, serenaded by Metallica (so romantic). I shall be looking after my grand-daughter, in charge for 24 hours! Have a great Bank Holiday weekend everyone. Looks the weather might be kind.
