Had a little overnight rain but nothing to write home about. Back over the plot today to carry on with the weeding and general tidy up before I consider preparing some of the beds for the winter nap.
Morning all...remember that hoolie I was talking about yesterday...it's now almost a full blown storm! High winds and pouring rain! To top it all my washing machine packed in yesterday mid way through a load of towels, water everywhere. Thank goodness it was in the garage. It is old so it doesn't owe us anything. A quick look on a certain company's web page last night and a new machine is being delivered this morning! How is that for service?
Good morning folks...Hope everyone is all well today...Its pouring it down here and blowing a gale..Also chilly too Brrrrr...Need to get a few things done in the garden but it won't be today..Food shopping then indoors for me for the rest of the day..Enjoy your weekend folks

Never mind, we are off to a wedding this afternoon.
The boy next door, who is so shy we've only ever spoken twice, is getting married. Never even seen so much as a young lady in his car lol.

Morning all. Finally managed to get online between the OH ebaying and Han doing some research on The Queen for her homework.
Raining here at the moment so have been helping Han with her sewing. My sister got her one of those bear kits that you have to put together. Instructions sounded easy but it believe me it wasn't.
Anyway have a good day everyone
What...you don't have the wind and rain Shen, you are only about an hour away too...lucky you!!
Jay - we did get rain later in the morning - however the weather here is full of surprises - I have a small book dated in the 1800s which describes the weather and the average rainfall along this coast - basically we get an average 3% but if you move inland for a short measure the average rainfall is 30% - I used to notice this as I travelled home from Glasgow through the Garnock Valley most nights of the week when it rained heavily and incessantly for the entire journey until I was able to see the sun shining brightly over Irvine and beyond - I think we are protected from the West by the Hills of Arran ad this is possibly the main reason but whatever they obviously knew about it more than 200 years ago
