Good evening,

I've had to put the loom knitting down for the night. Started to get a headache. Just hope it goes now that I have put my glasses on. Got my Dhal curry in the slow cooker, should be ready soon. The smells coming from the slow cooker smells nice. Lets hope it tastes nice too.

Good evening folks...hope everyone is having a good day so far....Mixure of weather here today gusty winds in the morning then turned out a gorgeous sunnny afternoon...Managed to get a few things done in the garden today...Gonna go and chill out for a bit ....Enjoy the rest of your evening folks

Good evening to you all, weather quite like Strawberrys apart from wind(didnt have onion soup) managed to reline my raised bed, and as usual the last bit is always the hardest, the ground was full of tree roots, possibly the reason for the poor onions, empted an other compost bin into it and now need to make it up with soil, also thinking in lifting the level up by depth of another scaffold board. The avaliability of garden veg. seems to be getting better as I am now pulling runner beans, peas, cabbage, carrots, beetroot and tomatoes, I suppose there is a lesson there for me to be patient, I will have to practice this so I am able to do it when I get old.

Listened to the cows doing their daily mooooooo as the farmer brings them fresh water with his tractor.
And now watching the sky slowly get lighter and the birds chirping.

Can't think of a nicer way to start the day!

Morning all, must have chucked it down in the night here. Very wet outside when we got up.
Son is going back to Derbyshire today, lovely family meal out last night.
I'm off to the charity shop this afternoon.

Morning everyone. Very wet here and cloudy. Good news is that means no having to water outside

Got a good crop of Gardener's Delight tomatoes now, and my Dad passed on some nice big Shirley ones too, so enough to shove through the juicer. We've been eating tomatoes every which way but not tried them juiced yet.

Having better luck with the 2nd round of Spring Onions I sowed. First lot struggled to germinate in individual little modules and only 4 have come up out of about 20. Second lot I got annoyed and just filled up a big container with damp compost, liberally sprinkled seeds over the top and have misted with water each day. That's had great germination so I hope to get some out of that lot. No need to move them anyway.
