    • I wonder if it was JoAnn Falletta you was thinking of:

          • Good morning. Starting off znother week with a sunny Monday, hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

            • Great morning. Sun is shining again - what's going on, am not used to dry spells like this! It would be a great day for gardening but unfortunately my daughter's sick off school so will be tending to her indoors while enviously looking out! Hope the sun is smiling down on everyone
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

              • Morning all, think I'd best make the most of this Indian Summer & give the grass it's last cut of the year, I normally do it in October but you have to make the most of what you've got. Need to shovel up the mole hills & lay some turfs on top first though................Pesky Vermin........................Have a great sunny day whatever you may be doing..........Hope your daughter gets well soon Marie.

                • It is a beautiful morning here too. Just idling, drinking coffee waiting for the washing machine to finish its cycle and then I can put out the laundry and pootle off to the plot. More green manure to plant. And I may remove the cucumber plants from the glass shed - they are pretty much done now. Have been utterly prolific ... maybe I will plant fewer of them next year and give aubergines a go . I will find plenty to keep me busy - that is for sure. Have a good day.

                  • Good morning all - cleared a bed yesterday for overwinter onions and garlic and will be going to allotment shortly to get them in. A similar bed to follow on daughter's plot in the next day or two. :-)

                            • Good evening to you all I hope you had a good day, and it was a very nice day here today, hope you had the same, I collected more seaweed today as I intend to clean out my flower beds and shred everything I would normaly compost, mix it with the seaweed and mulch the garden with this, I am hopeing this will save me having to turn compost bins, as my shoulders are getting too sore for this ( who was it that said, auld age disny come its sell) any kitchen waste will go to a tumbelling composter or the wormery, I am still pulling tomatoes and runner beans, so although they were late they have went ona lot longer, I have taken most of my hanging baskets down, next year I intend to keep them going till the frost stops them, well I am going to get ready to watch the Doc. I wonder if someone wants a cup of tea, if she does she might make me one. Well one can live in hope, good night to you all and if you are going to make tea, wait tae a get mine, jist incase yea slow doon the power. Goodnight

Good evening All, (even rary). Another beautiful September day has been and gone. Hopefully, there's another one waiting in the wings for tomorrow.
The moon is big, bright and shiny again tonight. I still find it hard to believe that men have walked on the moon, but spare me the theories about it being a mock up somewhere in the desert, because I find that just as hard to believe.
