Morning everyone. Daughter still off school sick so have just accepted that nothing much will get done in the garden this week and have cut my losses on that front. On the plus side, noticed a sudden lot of red toms in PT when I opened it up this morning. They clearly ripen better when I stop fussing over them

Just found a message on my mobile phone - the one I never look at and don't know how to use Apparently, I won a box of chocolates in a raffle at the Vets. Better not tell the pups as they were hoping for dog biscuits
Hope you all sleep well tonight, especially my new best friend, raryit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning all, wonderful hot sunny morning. Especially when i don't want it.
Going to the garden centre today, i love my visits there but never know what they might have, but thats half of the enjoyment.
Need to get off my ass and clean the kitchen it´s a big mess, urg can't be bothered. Maybe the kettle will go on again.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Good morning all and a happy October to all.
A beautiful sunny morning here, so a great start to the month.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Just back from the park. What a beautiful day. Sun shining, birds singing and the smell of newly mown grass.
When i finished my walk i sat looking out over Dublin bay watching the Stena Line ship coming up into Dublin port.
I have the best of both worlds in my area, a park that runs down to the sea front.
Having said that, it can be very cold in winter.
Hope everyone else is having as much sun today.
