Morning all, dark and wet this morning! Another terrible night with the dogs...us going to bed seems to be the signal for them getting up and barking for no apparent reason other than they can! Goodness knows what the neighbours are thinking!

Morning well no nearly afternoon time. So afternoon all. Just got back from the allotment. Cleared away another 3 wheel barrows full of weeds and fruit bush cuttings off the plot before the rain started. By the looks of it I have just got home in time.
So sitting here for a bit with a cuppa and on line in some peace and quiet for a bit. Am thinking do I get the hoover out and vacuum or shall I leave it until later or even possibly tomorrow morning. Hmmm bit of a tough question now I've finally sat down.

Afternoon all, just back from visiting my dad in hospital. He had a fall and broke a bone at the top of his leg and was operated on yesterday. He is not looking very well today. It's a shock to see how quickly people deteriorate.
He is in the new all singing all dancing hospital in Glasgow. They have closed most of the older hospitals in the city and centralised them into this one in the South. All I can say is I am not impressed. 10 minutes to get there from my mums and half an hour to park...and by that I mean driving round the multi storey car park. Think of all those fumes with dozens of people doing the same. The hospital is not that nice either. Great idea on paper but practically I'm not sure it's working.sigpicComment

Hope your dad gets better soon, Jay. An operation can knock the stuffing even out of fit, young and healthy people. Hopefully he will soon perk up with rest and tlc.
In between the showers, it's not been a bad day at all. Sedum is starting to flower and looks pretty (apart from where slugs had a munch) now wish I'd bought more.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.Comment

Good evening Folks, yes Jay I agree with you, was in the new hospital with one of my grandsons and took ages to find dept. plus parking, and when inside far too noisy.
I was in a supermarket today and nothing unusual happened!! must be in the wrong area, went to buy a new toaster, my wife likes toast in the morning, I wasnt too keen to get one but being a woman she knows how to get me to give in, she simply whispered a suggestion in my ear, and after that she gets what she wants. I was also down at the beach with my youngest grandson, a walk along the sand helped excercise my leg as it streches the leg muscle, after walking along the waters edge he kept his feet dry, we then walked back to the car over grass and about 100yds. from the car he went into a deep puddle and soaked his feet, Im convinced my wife thinks I look for puddles for him.
Well I wish you all a good night and by the way the suggestion is...I will pay for it.. Goodnight.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Yes they are listed but listed at the bottom of the member's personal page and the member has to toggle down the whole page to get to the list of likes. One is notified of "likes received" and you click on that and they're listed by liker and message liked. You select the message and it takes you to the thread.Comment

You are going direct to the list of likes. I get thrown into my members profile with the list of likes tagged on at the bottom. Screenshot would be good but I haven't got a scoobie how to persuade my puter to produce one. Thanks for giving me the like to practice with btw
