Morning everyone So pleased to have a free day to potter today. Looking forward to some serious PT time.
Good luck with the Xmas decorations, Nicos. I'm still finishing up on Halloween crafts / decs and getting loads of photos which I can use in the months ahead for next year's round of online searchers. I'll be onto Christmas in the next few weeks I should think. It's non-stop at this time of year that's for sure.
My most hated time of year is here (showing my grumpy side again!) tomorrow with the fairground arriving. Which means lots of noise, chaos and mess nearby. Last year it rained hard non-stop and we were soaked through despite all wearing "waterproof" coats. Of course my daughter loves the fair and can't wait! I sound like such an old stick in the mud ... but so not my cup of tea.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
Morning all and a very dull start to the day.
Forecast id good so hoping the sun will come out later.
Off to visit my mothers grave after mass to see if I can do anything with it.
Its only ten weeks since the burial but i am hoping to be able to tidy it up and maybe plant some spring bulbs on it.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Off out to lunch with a friend again today I don't do it very often but I haven't seen any friends for weeks so thought I'd do some catching up! Perfect excuse for oH to again ignore the garden and go for a ride on his bike!
Evening all..
We had a beautiful day here and I spent as much of it outdoors as I could..
Sowed some garlic and onions and got some general tidying up done..
Good win in the rugby, not so good in the soccer..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
Morning from a fresh Nestland. 6 degrees here at the mo but promises to stay dry so think I'll go try catch a Carp or 2..........(Aye, Buddy Holly for Flo)............have a good day whatever you decide to do.

Morning all, a really dark morning here though it's dry I moved all my tender plants in yesterday and my back is feeling a little worse for wear but I think it may well be another good day for an Autumn clear up. I have plenty of conker leaves down already.
Morning everyone PT looked good this morning - nothing ravaged by invading slugs from what I could see. So a bonus. Looks like it will be a pretty fine day.
