Morning my GH min temp overnight was 5.1c the coldest yet but the toms are still ripening so thats good. Todays plan is to pick the remaining apples and pole beans, then go our for a walk.

Really warm day here today and with still being house bound. Might open one of those disposable bbq´s, have a few beers and play terribly at darts. Be interesting to see how the whole frozen corn on the cob goes.

Yep, was a good day, 70 miles to the Yonderman cafe for a nice big fry-up, then on to Sheffield for a jar, then back down to just north of Stoke for a jar & onto a bit South of Stoke for a jar, round trip of just over 200 miles visiting the three remaining (as far as I can find) Gardeners Rest pubs in England, there was another in Stroud but that has been conerted to dwellings

Early start for me...Tis OH's burpday today so I'm hoping to sneak out and bring back a selection of warm, freshly baked croissants etc whilst he's lumbers!

Slightly zombie like this morning. Thanks to the dog snoring & dreaming while a red deer stag was roaring not far from the bedroom window. On the plus side I did get to do a bit of star gazing from bed .

Morning all! I don't think I've much go in me this morning. My garden rule for the Autumn is to do at least 15minutes clearing up every day. Leaves, clearing as much carp out of the gravel path, and generally trying to make my garden wilderness 'neat' Well, I started out the back this morning, clearing the leaves, after 10minutes my fingers were frozen.
