We finally gave in yesterday and put the electric blanket on the bed, it does make a huge difference even to have it on for 20 mins before getting into bed.

                  • Which did you do first, Lisa?

I went out to buy chicken feed and came back with 15 packets of seed! 11 of them are flower seed discs for hanging baskets and pots, the others are veg seeds in multiple packs of 6. Did I mention that they were only 20p a packet Hoping for a floriferous 2016! Such a bargain I'm thinking about going back to buy all the remaining seed discs
Hope you've all had happy days too - I know Lisa and I have

                      • Our newly refurbished Lids reopened today - expected it Saturday. Had some good offers on fruit and veg.
They also had a free barbecue and drinks. Needless to say, my piggy husband will not be needing any tea tonight. Must admit it was all very tasty.
Been shopping all over the place during the last seven or eight weeks. Nice to get back to normal I say

                        • I flushed first!!! and then went out for lunch, a very strange feeling like coming home after being on holiday, so much had changed in town after 8/9 days.

I have never really had any luck with seed discs, but at 20p a go i would def try again

                          • Evening All It has been a very gloomy few weeks, but the sun is finally peeking from behind the clouds Nicos and things are looking brighter. I've just had a message from one of the staff at work to say that her little girl no longer wants to help her prepare the evening meal because her eyes are streaming and she has her head in the fridge. I gave her some onions this morning
