  • Afternoon and it hasn't stopped raining here since very early Monday morning.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

NVG, it`s hard to get kids to walk in a straight line, and, at my age I have found that I dont like them to walk fast, but give them time they will be fine
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I've been shopping too. Bought 2 packs of halfprice tulips from Morries - 50 bulbs for £1.50. Not quite on the BM scale of yellow stickers but I'm pleased
Overhead a lady saying "Be careful Mother, this is where you picked up linguine last time". I didn't realise you could catch such things in a supermarket :eek
                  Everyone OK?:

                    • Happy news this evening!

We took Hibou to a specialist this afternoon and he spent an hour with her!!!! Loads of tests and said her eye is working perfectly but it looks like the haematoma inside the eye socket is infected so.....2 months worth of treatment!!!!!

We've come back with half a pharmacy..and he says this lot should sort it, and keep emailing him with updates and he'll call her back/ ask us questions as the weeks go by to save us going back on the understanding we contact him immediately if we think her eye is getting worse.

                      I could weep with relief

A lovely guy too and said what an incredibly calm gal she was whilst having things shoved onto her eye and being manhandled by a stranger.
I am sooo proud of her!

And yes...I'll forgive her for peeing in her basket on the way home!

And you know what...all that , plus 2 months worth of medication ...cost??? £95
I nearly fell over sideways in disbelief!

(Keep those fingers crossed still peeps cos she's apparently got 2 large lumps which may need attention later on...but at least he sees no reason why she should lose her eye!)

                          • Great news Nicos, our daughters cat had an injured eye a year or so ago. Like you, it's a testament to her devotion that he kept his sight.
He had blood taken, swirled round in some machine and it came back like a serum. Drops of that 4 times a day and not letting him out did the trick.
Well done again Nicos, Hibou is lucky to have you
