      • Morning all, i thought i was up early at 6:30. Did you guys not even try to get back to sleep

These mornings are nippy, i let the boys out for weewee´s and they coming running back in and get under the covers, these Spaniards are not used to the cold Sun is shinning bright and its warming nicely after a couple of cuppas.

Wonderful news Nico´s i am so happy for you and Hibou, i might of missed it but could we have a photo, i would like to put a name to a face (or whatever the saying is )

Off to take the motorhome for a service ready to head back to the UK to find new owners, so excited about the new one.

I will plant some garlic to day i must, if it has not rotted

        Hope you have good ones
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

        • Great news re: Hibou and Alfie

I've also got kids here Marie. As soon as we get half term my flock doubles in size and I'm forever in the kitchen! The trouble when they get older is that they don't turn up till teatime, need to be fed and watered and they are constantly looking for food. They have hallow legs! One turned up yesterday on his bike yesterday in shorts and a t'shirt inthe rain.....another bike propped up on my living room wall.

          • I eventually went back to sleep after reading thankfully. It was funny being on the vine while it was almost deserted bit like being somewhere you're not supposed to be.

Ouch Scarlet! Yes I should count myself lucky on that score. When she gets older and we're at the friends trooping in and out stage then I think I'll be spending more time hiding out in the polly
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

              • Morning all. I see some of you have been up for hours! You'll be wanting lunch at about 11.00 am

Grey but not actually raining. No 2 son is coming over today and hopefully we will go to see Spectre. Going to go and get tickets in a bit - since I have to go into town anyway, I think it is such a 'rip off' to have to pay £1.50 to book tickets in advance. They are getting our money before we get the service, so why do we have to pay extra for that privilege? Whoops - this is in danger of becoming a rant.

Feeling insufferably smug this morning. Pub quiz last night and we won! Yay! First team to ever score 100%. How will we maintain that standard, especially as the quiz master is threatening music rounds next month?

                Have a good day all.

Aww she looks so like my late cat Jazz - he was a right character as well. Black cats are my fave - don't understand the daft superstitions some people have about them. Adorable.

The rain has stopped (finally) the wind has died down and its beginning to brighten up.
Typical, now theres a good day forecast we are off out to Ikea.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.

What were we thinking of, (or not).
Never ever go to Ikea during the schools mid term break.
Wall to wall kids and half the country must have had the same idea.
Home in one piece but next time we will check all angles first.
