Morning all, it's been a very wet period. Yesterday was just a continual downpour and it only just easing this morning. I think we have to have some sun this afternoon, thank goodness. Hope you all have a lovely day!

I was horrified recently to discover that washing machines nowadays were engineered not to be financially viable to repair. It's not just a rip off Britain thing. It's international. Scandalous.
Our tumble drier which we bought second hand when we got together in 1992 packed in the day before I went into hospital recently. Had to buy a new dressing gown(is that what they call a man's one?) .
Drier has lived under the workbench in my shed all these years and is vented outside. Going to be a be one of the first jobs I have to see too once I'm back on the go

Evening All - didn't get the chance to pop in this morning, but heard your cheery call Nicos Had a pretty lousy day at work and came home to find that Chester had rolled in fox poo. Rubber gloves, soapy water, hosepipe (he's very good at being washed unlike my GSs whom I'm sure you'll remember me telling you I used to have to put on the lead, tie it to the washing pole and then chase them round it with a watering can), but he still stinks! How do I get rid of the smell?
Hope your husband is on the road to recovery Lisa, stay strongGranny on the Game in Sheffield

Evening all...
Tis nearly Friday, that's all I can say after a few crap days at work...
Still, gotta stay positive, people with plenty more troubles than me...
I'm still gonna have a relaxing beer tho...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Came home from the fiesta early as not much happening tonight so having leftovers and a couple of glasses of wine in a bit.
We sat in a bar having a beer and felt the biggest earthquake i have ever felt. Was weird seeing everyones reactions. Exciting i guess. Now off to look on the net.
Have a good night xI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Good evening Folks, dry here today, nothing done in the garden today running after grandchildren seems to take all my energy, good news, dont need to buy new scales, bad news is either a new kitchen or diet, still thinking what would be the worst, spending on a new kitchen or cutting back on food consumption ?????? I am now cutting back this shouldent be too difficult, I have stopped eating lot of times, infact I have not eaten anything since tea time. I wish you all a good night, and please do not disturb, as I am away to have supper so that I can go all night without eating. Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning all. Been up and about quite early this morning since Will woke up 5ish after having a bad dream.
Seems ok now.
Raining here at the moment so allotment is going to be out today. Kids are going to spend the night at grandma and granddads so will have a few hours this afternoon to myself before I pick OH up from work.
Suppose I could sort my seeds out again. Haven't done that for a few weeks
Well Happy Friday everyonesigpic
