                  • Morning everyone last day before daughter goes back to school so doing lots of fun things she likes including an indoor play centre with a big curly wurly slide as she calls it. I shall take my ear muffs to drown out the noise and stock up on the coffee back to some gardening tomorrow I hope ...
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                    • Morning all.
Foggy out, hopefully sun will burn that off later and we can have another lovely day.
Have put my whole year of GYO mags away till next year, when I intend to read them all again as the year goes on.
Got some card making to keep me busy at some point today, I worked out that I donate approx 50 per month to our Age UK shop. That makes it feel worthwhile.
                      Have a great day everyone

                      • Good 1st of November, how did that happen.

Its dark this morning and you would think it was 6am, boys are all still fast asleep and are not moving.
Hoping for some rain later, you complain about too much rain in England then you move here and want rain. Typical me.

Have a lazy sunday grapes x
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

                          • Morning all - very foggy here. I did not mow the lawns yesterday, still too wet. But I did get the bulbs planted and the onions peeled (well more than half of them, so lots more of that delightful job to come) and the house cleaned. And the last of the outside tomatoes in pots cleared away.

A strong smell of spiced vinegar is currently pervading the house - lovely on a Sunday morning (NOT!) but what else is to be done? Hoping that the fog will disappear so that I can cut this damn grass. Out for a curry this evening with the neighbours/friends and then ... it's Monday again. Gosh don't the weeks just evaporate?

Have a good day everyone, let's hope we see a bit of blue sky today.

                            • Thick fog here too, the first of the season. I've school work to do then wallflowers to plant. I too need to cut the grass but I whether it will dry off enough I'm not so sure.

Fog is slowly lifting here to reveal a mainly blue sky, spider webs look amazing! Off over the plot soon to rough dig a couple of beds and begin the winter maintenance program.

Hope you allhave a happy and productive 1st November
