Got a great view last night too. Some really bright ones...first time in years the sky has been clear enough.

The sky actually cleared last night and we saw them too, brilliant in every sense of the word

Didn't get home until the early hours this morning . Went out to see them but the sky was too hazy to see anything.

VC - I would have gone to the allotment but it is surrounded by trees and a big wall at that point - upstairs front wee bedroom window might give the best view - I'll have a look

I tried all the upstairs windows but couldn't see a thing - memo to self - 'must wash these windows'
