I thought I did something wrong

Last weekend our town had their major festival. The pub I use had a problem in that the landlord had a big bust up with his girlfriend and mother of his child. I, unfortunately got embroiled in this.

Several hours into it and I'd been out and about enjoying the ambience it came back and bit me on the behind again.

i think I've said something really, really stupid but I've been back in tonight and the girlfriend is back behind the bar, the landlord is talking to me.

I still think it will come back on me.
