  • Battle of Britain Day Event on 15 September 2015

There have been various "celebrations" to mark the anniversary, the biggest launch from a single site I believe will be .... https://grrc.goodwood.com/battle-of-...OG4c2AFFWFo.97 .... upto 40 aircraft taking off & still some free entrance tickets to go

Blooming heck BB that's close on 100 miles and two hours if the A1 is running well.

I am hoping they may well be something closer as we had a lot of RAF stations round this way, though mainly bombers.

The Cosby Victory Show would be a bit nearer to Notts, Pots, but it's the weekend before.

          The Victory Show - WWII Re-Enactment 4th-6th September 2015

          Bit cheaper entry too.
          Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
          Endless wonder.

Wonder if today's events will impact on planned celebrations.
