well we was told if its got a lock on it you must have somthing valuable in the shed. Not locking it makes sure you always check you have taken your best tools home with you.

One of the neighbours on the allotment had a FAKE camera on it which moves with motion - that got ripped down by someone, i think he now has an alarm on it ( i think he used to work in security) I don't really see the point of it. sometimes hear it beeping in the evening - very annoying when gardening.

My view is - you should expect your shed to be prone to theft( i know it shouldnt be like that) but thats what this world is like now which is a shame.

Someone who i worked with thinks it could have been a homeless person looking around and noticed the stove and kettle so they could make some tea to keep warm. as they didnt take the tools etc.

Could be - was any produced nicked from the site - if it was a homless person I would expect spuds and carrots to be taken, maybe some fruit - the stove and a dry place to sleep would have been a bonus to them.

Still not nice and I'm not condoning it - at least no damage to the shed, which is good.
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!
