This type of program has never interested me but a friend suggested I watched it. So I'm now watching on catch up. I was taught the same basics that every chef needs but this program is bringing up "challenges" on things I have never heard of in 46 years and these are amateurs.
I've tried googling it and I can't find the criteria for the different stages. I have some fantastic recipes. I would really hate to be judged on recipes I've never heard of before.
They are on baguettes at the moment and we can't compete with the French because we don't have the same type of ovens.
