What a Year...

Hi Guys,

I've not been around at all this year. I had an ok season last year and was looking forward to this year but then in January my Dad was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. The world stopped, I don't mind telling you. Both of our allotments have suffered as a result.

About a month ago my dad was given the all clear. There is a possibility it could come back but they are going to keep an eye on him. The world is once again a wonderful place and we have both come back fighting, mainly weeds lol.

I'm moving to a smaller plot as this year has taught me a full plot is just too big for the time I can dedicate. I just wish the bank holiday weather was kinder so my new found enthusiasm could have been utilized.

I know exactly what you mean when your world stops. It's always an emergency stop, the blasted thing never slows gentle to a stop dose it?
