I'm a crafter too. It's my registered profession here - as well as running the gites !
Xmas decorations, gifts and household decs mostly out of felt or recycled materials like wood

Hardly make any profit but it keeps me out of trouble, and I enjoy making them.

    I reckon I'm a frustrated Blue Peter fan! : p

Between the day job (as of today, only 28 hours, yippee!), volunteering on the committee of a national writers' organisation, morris dancing, the Husband and the 4yo, I technically don't have any time for gardening, let alone anything else... I am complete awe of the crafts you guys get through. Kudos!

I can - or, to put it another way, in past times I have - spin (wheel and drop spindle), sow a little bit, and write, but that's my limit sadly.

Sounds like you've got your hands rather full, 1Bee. When my daughter was that age, I didn't get much time for anything outside of looking after her until she started school full time. Now she's 8, she will do some crafts with me like card making, origami, hama beads and hand sewing but I've so far failed to teach her to crochet so will have another go at that in the winter I think.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

I've got lots of indoor hobbies, reading, scrapbooking, card making, bobbin lace, my main hobby was dollshouse miniatures but my houses have been neglected lately.
I think I've tried most crafts at some point

Well as most of you answered my "what do you do "question with crafts. Let's see them
Come on don't be shy . This is my latest attempt at crafting. Patch work bags & purses. I can't take photos of the big bags I've been making, because they are with my friend who does the craft fairs.

Other crafts I keep coming back to are bead work butterflies , bead jewellery, cow horn jewellery, candles, knitting, embroidery & stick making.
I have to keep my tiny little mind occupied or its all doom & gloom.
Obviously it goes without saying, if the weathers good my favourite hobby is my veggies

I don't tend to have time with two toddlers to do arty farty crafty bits but I have found some pics from when I have done a bit in the last couple of years.

My two and a half year olds room -

and no that is not a lot of pac-mans (pac-men) on the floor. I am due to do my other daughters room shortly. Thankfully they aren't at princess stage yet.

Then a couple of bits of needle tatting -

I cast the ugly face for the water feature and set it up, cast the mini faces in the wall and the large ones and the slab for the seat. My Dad done the brick work though.

Ok, I have just realised I do quite a few mini projects here and there rather than winter, I do tend to read more in winter though.

Used to do dolls house's then changed to scratch built scale model RC boats. I like the challenge of using clumsy plumbers fingers to work in miniature.

This year the main task is to clean up my workshop and get it in proper order ready for the next project.

The patchwork bags and purses are great @Small Pumpkin I was thinking of having a go at a patchwork table runner some time - it's a craft I've dabbled in but not much more.

Wow - really creative child's room @Norfolkgrey I wouldn't have the guts to paint on the walls unless it was just a single colour That is really creative.

I craft all year round but I do a lot more in the colder months when I tend to be indoors more. Here's some recent ones:

These are my crochet cushion covers made from granny squares. Not too hard to make. I'm doing two more in a different colourway with greens and blues and a cream border.

Hama bead snowflake ornaments for the Christmas tree. My daughter and I worked on these. I make a lot of crafts for Christmas and other occasions round the year like Halloween. Just find that a lot of fun.

Snowman ornament for the tree made from felt. Love sewing with felt as such an easy and pleasant fabric to work with. About now is when we start on Christmas crafts and making decorations for the home, cards and little gifts for family/friends etc.

I love looking at people's craft photos so keep 'em coming

I sew (when I can get access to my sewing room, oh keeps using it as his office to get away from the cats) knit and crochet and have just learnt to make corn dollies. Pinched the corn from the farm next door..the farmers mum knows but promised not to tell her son!
Dogs have masters, cats have slaves, and horses are just wonderful

Norfolkgrey I love the jungle scene & the needle tatting looks very delicate and complicated.
Craftymarie the little snowman is cute. I would love to make things like that. But I can't touch felt, it goes through me. ( if you know what I mean)

Well work tends to raise it's ugly head and fill in the time (currently doing 70 hour week)

When I do get the time, inclination and energy I do a bit of wire wrap jewellery though I tend to either keep them myself or use them as presents rather than sell them
