I know the feeling well.
Would be okay if I was a great gardener....but I'm a bit rubbish so I need to get over it or we'll starve!

Am in tune with that emotion..! I hate buying veg, particularly this time of year. If only my courgettes & cukes weren't so pathetic/I'd grown more round French beans, parsley, coriander, dill, basil, spinach, chard, beetroot.
Hang on, this is turning into next year's 'stuff I must grow more of' list!http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia

Add me to the clan - just went out for 2 spring onions to add to home made potato salad and ended up with a skinny leek instead. The SO's are so thin I would have to rip them all up to get even a slight hint of onion.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Also know how you feel!
And when it comes to my girls being lazy layers I can't bring myself to buy eggs!
And boy, do you desperately , urgently feel you really need something like egg butties, cake, quiche, dippy eggs, egg on toast, pancakes, Yorkshire pud etc etc
Waiting til the next day is a killer!
But yes...I hate buying veg too, they also never have the same flavour.
If I do have to buy some, it'll always be something I've never/ can't grow like sweet potato, corn on the cob, cauliflower etc"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
