Just wondering whether anyone has guessed the titles of any of these books?
    They all sound interesting

I'm guessing Novicegrowers 'fear of trolls' sentence is maybe from Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?

The name "ridge cucumber" comes fromthe old habit of growing them on raised beds or ridges - these days they are usually grown on the flat.

Creative intelligences, being evolved, necessarily arrive late in the universe, and therefore cannot be responsible for designing it.

The victorian kitchen garden . I got it out the other day to see what it said on hotbeds. I think that sentence is where it talks about Lawes making his money from man made fertilizer (its been a while since I read it all the way through )

Nearest book "This recipe makes enough to serve four". Next nearest "He unwrapped the land turtle and pushed it under the house".
"I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)

A modification to the above fly with a gold rather then silver ribbing and the wing consisting of mixed red and black hair with some added silver Flashabou is called The Moody Brag.

The other one about the same distance is:

                    dx/dy = 3wx + 5 + 3y2
And that is an easy one, book is about Relativity.

The first one of mine I know can't be found or guessed as it's from a recipe book but was/is genuine which is why I went for the second one. As a matter of curiosity I decided to google it after I'd posted it. Anyone else who does this will find out what book I'm reading at the moment.
